Education Partnership Program
Home Building Foundation brings our shelter work into the classroom. HBF and industry leaders provide materials and expertise so local construction students and trainees can build projects for our nonprofit partners who serve people experiencing homelessness. We promote living wage careers in construction with outreach, career fairs, educational tours and scholarship support.

Home Building Foundation’s Education Partnership Program brings our shelter building to the classroom. HBF and industry leaders bring materials and expertise to the classroom so construction students can build projects that can be donated to local shelters for people experiencing homelessness.
By offering training and education in the home building industry, we also seek to create long-term solutions to homelessness by empowering individuals with marketable skills. Through these programs, participants can gain the knowledge and experience necessary to pursue careers and equip them to achieve self-sufficiency and long-term stability.
