Just Compassion of East Washington County has secured a site for a brand new day services center for homeless adults. This two story residence will be transformed into a one-stop-shop where adults experiencing homelessness can receive hot meals, do laundry,  take a shower, and look for employment opportunities. The project consists of two phases: getting the main floor up and running including renovating the kitchen and office, installing HVAC and exterior siding, and renovating the downstairs that entails adding laundry, shower and sleeping quarters. Just Compassion’s long term plan includes creating overnight emergency shelter beds at the facility.
