AV41 – Anisa’s Place
This new shelter project is a seven bedroom home for 12 to 17-year-old girls escaping sex trafficking to be built in unincorporated Clackamas County. The house will serve 6 girls up to 12 months at a time where they can recover from trauma and live in a safe and secure environment while they get treatment and counseling. The house is named in honor of Anisa Swearingen, a sexually exploited teen who was brutally murdered in 2012.
